The Turned Signpost
The Fernley winter walk sets off every year from the Anchor and comes back, eventually, to the Anchor. Ada, Hugo and Edie were all walking this year. Half the walkers came home an hour late, by way of a farm nobody had heard of.
What happened
At the stile, the signpost was levered round to point the wrong way with the walking stick.
