The harvest supper ends with the best pie in Fernley. Lena made it, Felix carved the ham and Cora decorated the hall. When the pie is cut, it is a perfectly ordinary pie.
What happened
The prize pie was swapped for a plain one at the serving hatch, carried in the spare pie dish.
