The Missing Sixpence
On Stir-up Sunday at the Fernley Inn everyone takes a turn at the Christmas pudding and makes a wish, and a silver sixpence goes in for luck. Felix, Jonah and Basil all stirred this year. By the evening, the sixpence has gone.
What happened
In the pantry, the silver sixpence was fished out of the pudding with the wooden spoon.
